Herise Istanbul is a restaurant project that presents traditional Anatolian cuisine with a contemporary approach while carefully curating the spatial experience as well. The architectural design and implementation were undertaken by Pixiu Architecture, with attention to simplicity and distinctive details.
At the heart of the design lies a solid wood floor that emphasizes warmth and naturalness. Custom-designed acoustic lighting fixtures enrich the space by combining functionality with aesthetic value. Thanks to the open kitchen concept, the production process becomes part of the spatial experience, fostering a sense of transparency and sincerity.
The interior features wooden and marble-surfaced tables, completed with custom-made metal legs. Ergonomically celebrated iconic chair designs were selected to prioritize user comfort. On the walls, art pieces created using Anatolia’s traditional block-print techniques add cultural depth to the atmosphere.
With the Herise Istanbul project, Pixiu Architecture achieved a balance between functionality, material quality, and cultural references. The result is a simple yet powerful atmosphere that draws users in and creates a memorable spatial experience.
